Battered 04:23
Battered I was bruised I was battered, upended by the sea. Built a kingdom under water but never learned to breathe.

Cecilia's Island I’m mapping Cecilia’s island from the inside, and this must be suicide. frostbite in lieu of knives. I’m mapping Cecilia’s island from the inside, it's so cold outside. but it's even colder inside cecilia. Cecilia, Cecilia, Cecilia I feel you. you froze me out. don't ever do a thing for country or king, they'll just let you down. we're mapping Cecile’s island from the inside, now we're running low on supplies. and one of the dogs has just died. we'll be lucky to make it off alive,we'll be lucky to make it of the ice. we'll be lucky to make it off Cecilia. Cecilia, Cecilia Cecilia, I feel you. you froze me out. never do a thing for country and king, they'll let you down.

Bell's Palsy 04:21
Bell's Palsy Every body is made to self-destruct, trying to keep order but the DNA's corrupt. You can give it all, until there's no more rope, but you know it's the end when it frays on your throat. All these years in, I don't know how to live, don't know where to begin. all these years in i don't know how to forgive, don't know when to forget. but if you show me how, we'll start right now, we'll start right...won't you show me how, I'll start right now. I'll start right... No, the coast isn't clear, and that much is clear. we'll ride a tsunami of all our fears, crashing in on an ocean of salty tears. I thought we were swimming, but we've been drowning for years. All these years in, I don't know how to live, don't know where to begin. all these years in i don't know how to forgive, don't know when to forget. but if you show me how, we'll start right now, we'll start right...won't you show me how, I'll start right now. I'll start right... If i had metal claws and no tension in my jaws, and a flying machine with a VCR that recorded dreams I might figure out what this life means. I might figure out just what it means. and I'm caught between heaven and earth, and I want to transcend but nothing works. and I'm caught between heaven and earth trying to ascend but everything hurts. All these years in, I don't know how to live, don't know where to begin. All these years in I don't know how to forgive, don't know when to forget. but if you show me how, we'll start right now, we'll start right...won't you show me how, I'll start right now. I'll start right...

Evergreen 04:25
Evergreen well I float through town, just like the autumn breeze. with no time to sprout, before I have to leave. All my life as a stunted seed, but when I close my eyes, I pine for evergreen. I pine for evergreen, just don't know what it means. I've been to hell and back and places in-between and all that time I thought of evergreen. As I close my eyes, I paint the scene of Mount Rainier through commencement sheen. I pine for evergreen, just don't know what it means. Lost in golden states, lost in last frontiers. How could I know I could find myself here? I'd start new, I'll come clean if I find evergreen. I found evergreen, now I know what it means. I found evergreen, finally know what it means. Now I found this aching beauty, can I kill the ache that resides in me?

The Freight of The World Don’t talk to me about baggage baby, while I’ve got the freight of the world strapped to my backside. while I’ve got the hate of this world eating its way through my insides. There’s only so much a back can take, you can climb aboard, but it might break. There’s only so much the truth can take, you might stretch it out, but we won’t break. Never going to break. So don’t bother us with your baggage baby, because we’ve got the freight of the world strapped to our backsides. Because we’ve got the hate of this world gnawing its way through our insides. Justice is blind, yeah it’s blind to the truth you seek. Just ask Sacto or Vanzetti. They’ll say “long live anarchy, viva, Viva l'anarchia” then they pull the switch on me, then they pass Tesla’s AC right through my body. The body electric is me. So don’t bother us with your baggage baby until you’ve had the freight of the world strapped to your backside. Until you’ve had the hate of this world eating its way through your insides. We’ll haunt you when you sleep, this is a game that we play for keeps. We’ll haunt you when you sleep, this is a game that we play for keeps.

TV Snow 04:22
Tv Snow Goodbye velveteen rabbit, I'm back on my feet, now that I've broke the habit. So long Misery Ainsworth, I no longer see life as just a curse. Is it just a curse? is it just a curse, until they haul me away in the hearse? escaping the firing line is the only thing that's on my mind. escaping the firing line is the only thing that's on my mind, in these times. Farewell to my teenage mind, well I'm old enough now I should leave you behind. So long to a thousand nights bathed in blue neon glow, trying to work out the big picture but only finding TV snow. TV snow, TV snow, when does it melt? well, I don't know. escaping the firing line is the only thing that's on my mind. escaping the firing line is the only thing that's on my mind, in these times. I know it's just TV snow, well I know.

Do The Betrayal All your problems are your own making-You look so real when you are faking. The beat kicks in and you start shaking off the friendships that you've forsaken. and you get out on the floor, and you do your only move. I've seen you get out on the floor - you really get into the groove. and you do the betrayal, watch you do the betrayal, going off the rails, your betrayal, betrayal. And I don't see the worth in remaining in your- I don't see the worth in remaining in your - I don't see the worth in remaining in your social network. No one’s buying what you’re selling, declaring peace while you start shelling. You hear the drums, and you’ll start breaking all the promises you’ve been making. And you step out on the stage, and you claim it’s all the rage… I’ve seen you strut out on the stage, yeah you do if it for days… and you do the betrayal, watch you do the betrayal, going off the rails, your betrayal, betrayal. And I don't see the worth in remaining in your- I don't see the worth in remaining in your - I don't see the worth in remaining in your social network. This “new Jerusalem” that we’re building is just another lily you’re guiding. You hear the horns and you start invading all the lands of the Celtic nations. And you’re king in all but name, a distinction in your brain. But your corruption’s just the same. and you do the betrayal, watch you do the betrayal, going off the rails, your betrayal, betrayal.

The Futurist 05:06
The Futurist Looks like another century under the gun. From 18 to 19 to 21. and I know why says the futurist. "Because the rich and the cruel will always rule. because the rich and the cruel will always rule" I saw the future, your future, your future. I saw the future, your future, your future. What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! What's stopping the world? Had enough? Had enough? Had enough? What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! Now do they expect us to maneuver into the future, when we keep getting Hoovers? We keep getting Hoovers, keep getting Hoovers sucking up all the wealth. When what we need is help, we need another Roosevelt. Nobody's learning from history and sadly it’s all too clear to me. I saw the future, your future, your future. I saw the future, your future, your future. What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! What's stopping the world? Had enough? Had enough? Had enough? What's stopping the world from coming up? Coming up! Coming up! Coming up! "It’s hard for me, not to cut my wrists" says the futurist. "Because I've seen the future, or what's left of it, and things are looking bleak for the meek, for the weak, for the freaks, for the geeks, for you and me well for everybody and I predict we remain sick; I predict we remain sick, I predict we remain sick I predict and end to the future an end to the future an end to the futurist".

Hidden In Plain Sight I used to believe in destiny. Thought international discovery was gonna set me free. From the killing floor of the factory. From the gaping hole that's inside of me. But nobody bothered to discover me and I crashed that destiny into my reality. I smashed my destiny in true reality. But that's ok, I didn’t want to live that way. It’s alright we can live our lives, hidden in plain sight. Yeah we're living real life, they're still shooting day for night. But that’s OK if you… Stay with me in obscurity. C’mon and stay with me in obscurity. where we’ll never have to worry about our privacy. We’ll never have to hire security. Never have to worry about the paparazzi. Never have to think about the eyes that are prying. I used to believe the fantasy, Maybe mid-tier celebrity is meant for me. Selfies with strangers at the grocery. Signing away every part of me. But making a living got the better of me. and I crashed that fantasy into my reality. I smashed my destiny into true reality. But that's ok, I didn’t want to live that way. It’s alright we can live our lives, hidden in plain sight. Yeah, we're living real life, they're still shooting day for night. But that’s OK if you.. Stay with me in obscurity. C’mon and stay with me in obscurity. Where we’ll never have to worry about our privacy. We’ll never have to hire security. Never have to worry about the paparazzi. Never have to think about the eyes that are prying. Youth is fleeting. Fame deceiving Said it before but it bears repeating. Youth is fleeting. Fame deceiving Said it before but it bears repeating. There’s no way that I’m leaving. There’s no way, so you might as well… Stay with me in obscurity and we’ll never have to worry about our privacy. We’ll never have to hire security. Never have to worry about the paparazzi. Never have to think about the eyes that are prying.

Choose your own adventure How does it feel to put away your childish dreams? How does it feel to pack away your childish schemes? Is it as liberating as it seems? I’ll never know, because I can’t let go. I’ll never know, because I can’t let go. How does it feel to say goodbye and that’s just what it means? She’s not wasting your nights, haunting all your dreams. and you’re not squandering days thinking what might have been. Wondering what might have been. Just thinking what might have been. Is it as liberating as it seems? I’ll never know, because I can’t let go. I’ll never know, because I can’t let go. If we choose our own adventures, every road leads to failure. Do we have a choice at all? Do we get a choice at all? Is there a choice at all? Or are we spending our lives just banging our heads right against the wall? I’ll never know, because I can’t let go. No, I’ll never know, because I won’t let go.
